The airport has introduced very extensive schemes for new long and short haul routes along with a scheme for promoting transfer traffic at Dublin.

New Development

The Dublin Airport Authority has confidence in the future growth of the Irish economy. The airport is investing in that confidence by building a new terminal and pier which will open in November 2010 and last year Dublin Airport opened an extension to the existing terminal.

Unique Facilities

Unique to Ireland is the pre-clearance facilities available for US board passengers to clear US Customs and Border Protection in Dublin.
