Construction work started today on the check-in hall for Dublin Airport's new passenger terminal T2.
The work on the check-in hall got underway after the main road into the airport was diverted to allow for more efficient construction of the new terminal.
T2's glass-walled check-in hall, which will feature traditional check-in desks, self service kiosks and bag tag and drop positions, will be linked to the main terminal via a bridge that will form the heart of the new terminal. The bridge is needed as eventually the road to Terminal One will pass through the centre of T2.
