Transforming Dublin Airport

New Mezz Exhibition Unit

mezzexhibit

Those of you who have visited the landside Mezzanine Floor of the terminal in recent days may have noticed a new feature on the filled-in floor space that used to be a void or hole in the floor between the Mezzanine and Departures Levels.

This circular feature is a new exhibition unit designed to inform passengers (and staff) of the progress made by the Transforming Dublin Airport Programme to date and to provide regular future updates as we move towards the opening of T2 at the end of next year.

The unit, designed for the DAA by Image Now, incorporates a physical model of the Airport and two plasma screens showing video material, which will be regularly updated. There are also two static information panels providing a timeline for the Transforming Dublin Airport Programme and some interesting statistics relating to the scale of the construction activity.

The physical model has been designed to highlight T2 and Pier E amongst the other old and new airport buildings and provides a key to identify most of the main structures throughout the airport campus.
