Steelwork will begin next week for Terminal Two’s check-in hall.
The check-in hall is located in front of T2’s main terminal building, which is currently under construction at Dublin Airport.
The glass-walled check-in hall will eventually connect with the main passenger terminal via a bridge that joins the two elements of T2. The bridge is required as when the T2 project is complete, the main access road to Terminal One will pass between the two parts of the new terminal.
The check-in hall is being built close to the construction hoarding on the left hand side of the road as you approach Terminal One. T2 contactor Watson Steel is due to begin preparatory work this week, to allow for steel erection proper to begin next week.
As the steel frame of the new check-in hall begins to take shape over the coming weeks, the full size and form of T2 will become much more clear on the Dublin Airport skyline.
